Commitment to Black Economic Empowerment

PEX as a group is committed to the principle of Black Economic Empowerment. Pex Cape Town has recently been rated as a level 4 contributor. Internationally, being Zambia, Zimbabwe and Angola, we are in partnership with African shareholders who form an integral part of the operations.

A previously disadvantaged individual (PDI) South African has been appointed as branch manager in Zambia. As part of our Springbok operations, a branch has been opened in Namibia, which is fully run by PDI’s who participate in profit sharing. At PEX Foundry, two out of the three members of the management team are PDI’s.
